These employees are responsible for organizational structure and carry out the administrative and strategic operations of our non-profit organization. They are the “wind beneath the wings” of our wonderful – and critically important – Direct Support Professionals who provide round-the-clock care to our clients.
I joined Flinthills Services as the Executive Director in November 2024. I hold a B.S. in Elem. Education and a M.S. in Educational Leadership from Emporia State University. Prior to being a part of Flinthills Services, I served in public education for 34 years. Living in El Dorado for the last 20 years, part of that service has been as the Asst. Director and Director of the Butler County Special Education Interlocal. I am excited to be a part of the Flinthills team which I have found to be extremely dedicated to the service of our clients.
My journey with Flinthills began during my time at Emporia State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Sociology. I started as an intern and soon accepted a position in direct care, which laid the foundation for my professional growth. After completing my degree, I transitioned into the role of Training and Safety Coordinator, where I focused on developing programs that enhance our team’s skills and safety practices.
Throughout my years at Flinthills Services, I have been inspired and have grown as a professional, ultimately stepping into the role of Director of Workforce Management and Development. In this position, I oversee all Human Resources needs, ensuring our team is well-equipped to support the individuals we serve.
I joined Flinthills Services in 2008 as a direct support professional and have held various roles, including site leader in Residential Services, Community Living Coordinator, and Life Skills Coordinator. In 2021, I became the Director of Community Living. It’s a privilege to work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and I’ve gained extensive knowledge about Flinthills Services and the support we provide. Advocating for those we serve is a priority for me, as I strive to help them live the lives they choose with dignity and purpose.
Since joining Flinthills Services in 2008 as a Direct Support Professional, my passion has always been the individuals we serve. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a variety of roles, including Site Leader, Community Living Coordinator, Life Skills Coordinator, and currently Director of Targeted Case Management and Quality Assurance.
For nearly two decades, I have been committed to ensuring that every individual has access to the supports, resources, and opportunities they need to live a life of their choosing. I believe that every person deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion while being empowered to make their own decisions, pursue their goals, and actively participate in their communities.
My focus is on advocating for the people we serve, removing barriers, and helping create person-centered supports that promote independence, self-determination, and meaningful relationships. The greatest reward of my work is seeing individuals achieve milestones, discover new opportunities, and live fulfilling lives on their own terms. I am honored to be part of an organization that shares this commitment and strives every day to make a positive difference in the lives of those we support.
I joined Flinthills Services in 2008 as a Direct Support Professional (DSP). Throughout my career with the organization, I have held a variety of roles that have allowed me to grow professionally while supporting individuals in achieving meaningful outcomes. I began in the Residential Department, serving as both a DSP and Residential Site Lead before transitioning to Day Services.
Within Day Services, I progressed through several positions, including Life Skills Coordinator, Production Coordinator, and Day Services Coordinator. I currently serve as the Director of Day Services, where I oversee programs designed to support individuals in reaching their personal goals and maximizing their independence and community involvement.
During my tenure at Flinthills Services, I earned a Bachelor’s degree from Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas, with a double major in Business Administration and Criminal Justice. My professional career has been dedicated to advocating for the individuals we serve, empowering them to live fulfilling lives, achieve their goals, and reach their highest potential.
Even though my bachelor’s degree is in General Studies with emphasis on Organizational Leadership, I am currently the Director of Operations and I love it! I started originally in August 2018, as an accounting assistant. I fell in love with our clients and enjoyed my job. I stepped away from Flinthills for about 1.5 years and worked part time for Butler County Emergency Management in order to be more available at home. I came back in October 2021 and have been working in accounting. I love the staff as well as the clients and love our mission here!
I have been with Flinthills Services for a total of 10 years. I started my career as a Direct Support Professional Staff member and, through dedication and hard work, advanced into the Operations Department. My experience has given me a strong understanding of both direct support and daily operations, and I am committed to providing quality service while supporting my team and the individuals we serve.
I joined Flinthills Services in 2012 as a Direct Support Professional and have had the opportunity to serve in both Residential and Day Services throughout my career. After working in several leadership roles, including Residential Site Leader, Life Skills Site Leader and Life Skills Site Leader II. For the past three years, I have proudly served as a Community Living Site Leader II in our Residential Department. I enjoy being involved in Special Olympics, Friday Fun Nights, and FSI’s annual dances, helping create meaningful and fun experiences for the individuals we support. Providing compassionate, person-centered care and supporting individuals with disabilities in living fulfilling lives is something I am truly passionate about, and I am grateful to be part of the Flinthills Services family.
I‘m the Production and Kitchen Coordinator at Flinthills Services, and I’ve been part of Flinthills Services since 2013.
I‘m married, and my husband and I have two grown daughters, an amazing granddaughter, and my parents-in-law live with us. When I’m not at work, you will find me at a dirt track race or spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy being with the people I love and making memories with them.
Matt McAdoo joined Flinthills Services, Inc. in 2025 as the Maintenance Coordinator, bringing more than 10 years of residential and commercial maintenance experience. In his role, Matt oversees the maintenance and upkeep of agency facilities, helping ensure safe, functional, and welcoming environments for the individuals we support and our employees. His extensive background, strong problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality make him a valuable member of the Flinthills Services team.
